VIDEO: Fitness at Forefront of Chatterton Fun Run

On Oct. 24, students and staff from Chatterton School participated in a spirited fitness challenge, the Fun Run. The event transformed the school gymnasium into a dynamic mini fitness center, complete with a variety of instructor-led activity stations provided by Rookies Kids Fitness of Bellmore.
Organized by the Chatterton PTA, specifically the vice president of fundraising, Keri Cohen, and co-president, Jackey Cacioppo, the Fun Run encouraged students to seek sponsorships from family, friends, and local businesses in support of school programs. Participants enjoyed a range of activities, including friendly but competitive tug-of-war matches - with students even challenging their teachers for bragging rights.
Adding to the excitement, the Chatterton Eagle mascot joined in the festivities, cheering on students and staff throughout the day.
Funds raised from the run will help support a variety of school initiatives, including field trips, Peace & Friendship Day, the Chess Nuts club, cultural arts programming, playground updates, and more.
