Students Celebrate Unity Day with Positivity, Kindness, and Orange

Students across the Merrick Union Free School District wore orange on Oct. 16 to stand against bullying and participate in Unity Day.  

From classrooms to hallways, the schools were filled with positive messages and bright smiles as students and staff came together to show that everyone belongs. 

Unity Day in schools is a national event during National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month that promotes kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
