Birch Fifth Graders Explore New Tower Garden
Fifth graders in Alyssa Pikowsky, Jessica Giovino, and Debra Vernice’s classes at Birch are getting their hands dirty.
With the help of Assistant Principal Anthony Fauci, students recently dove into hands-on learning as they explored their new Tower Garden. From planting seeds to growth, they’re watching science come to life right in their classroom.
“It’s an exciting way to learn about sustainability, responsibility, and how things grow, one plant at a time,” explained Pikowsky.
